Organize your evaluation in a way that makes the best sense for you. What we cover in class, what the textbook authors write, and what the ‘experts’ articulate are best practices but ultimately, they aren’t there with you in these dynamic, high-acuity environments where elements constantly change.

They do provide a phenomenal overview of what you SHOULD focus on and give you a structured system to do so. This process is the foundation that you’ll ultimately build upon as you become a provider. Set your foundation well and the rest will come easier.
